Hello, on http://www.wald.org/raposa/index4.php you can support the land rights campaign of indigenous peoples of Brasil. The purpose of this is to get the new Brasilian president Lula da Silva to sign a document which could end a 30-year-campaign. Indigenous representatives have asked for international support and solidarity. Unfortunatly the old president, who was in office until the end of last year, has not signed the document. On this website, words of solidarity are collected. If you want to support the indigenous peoples, simply sign this petition. In addition to this, you can also send an prefabricated e-mail of your own to the President and other decision-makers. This action is coordinated by the indigenous council CIR, together with many organisations around the world, such as Pro REGENWALD from Munich, Germany or the Rainforestfoundation, New York. The participating organisations believe that success is possible, if only the international interest and pressure are high enough. Help us. It will only take a few minutes.
